Congratulations to Connie and Allen Reustle on their new granddaughter, Bailey. She was born on Super Bowl Sunday. Connie’s and Allen’s son Chris and his family are living in upstate New York. Bailey is welcomed home by her two sisters and one brother. Connie said she’s planning on traveling to New York sometime this month to see her granddaughter — she can’t wait.

Happy birthday to Melba Hastings. Hope she had a wonderful birthday on Monday, Feb. 4. Sunday, Feb. 3, was another busy day for Boy Scout Troop 174. They began the day by attending worship service at King’s Church in celebration of Scout Sunday. That afternoon the boys and their parents were busy hosting a beef and dumpling dinner at the Delmar VFW. Thanks to King’s Church for their hospitality in hosting the troop on this special day, and thanks to the Delmar VFW and all the wonderful people that supported the troop at their beef and dumpling dinner.

Happy birthday to the following people who have birthdays the first part of February: Nancy Brittingham - Feb. 10; Nathan Newberry - Feb. 11; Carol Newberry - Feb. 18. We hope that you all have great birthdays.
