Friday night is gospel night
Trinity United Methodist Church, Phillips Hill Road, Laurel, is hosting gospel music concerts on Fridays. On Feb. 16, Raymond Sheridan's Gospel Side will perform and on Feb. 23, Jennifer Raley Corbin will sing. For details, call Sandy LeCates, 856-1506.

Church of God events set
The Bridgeville Church of God, 1 mile west of Bridgeville on US 404, is hosting Valentine Village Saturday, Feb. 17, at 2 p.m. for children from 6 to 12. Cafˇ 404 featuring music and refreshments will be Saturday at 7 p.m. Admission is free.

Portsville gospel concert set
Portsville United Methodist Church will sponsor a gospel concert Sunday, Feb. 18, 6:30 p.m., featuring The Dove of Salisbury, Md. The church is located on Dogwood Lane just west of Bethel. For details, call 875-4672.

Bishop to be at St. Mary's
Bishop Wayne Wright, Episcopal Diocese of Delaware, will visit St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Bridgeville, Sunday, Feb. 18, at the 10:30 a.m. service. He will celebrate the Holy Eucharist and preside at the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Pancake supper planned
A Shrove Tuesday pancake supper will be Tuesday, Feb. 27 4 to 7 p.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church. Admission is $5, free for children 6 and under. The dinner will benefit the Centenary Church Sunday school youth. The church is at Poplar and Market streets, Laurel.
