Read-Aloud Training
READ-ALOUD Delaware volunteer training session will be Tuesday, Feb. 24, 1 p.m. in the Seaford Public Library, 402 North Porter St., call 856-2527. Volunteer readers are needed at various reading sites in Sussex County.

Nanticoke Little League
Nanticoke Little League will have a Longaberger Basket Raffle. One $5 ticket buys you 31 chances to win a Longaberger basket. Raffle will be held March 1-31. If the number on your ticket matches the Delaware Lottery Play 3 evening drawing number, you win a basket. Youth Forum Needs Students
2004 Youth Forum sponsored by Soroptimist International of Seaford, Saturday, March 13, 10 a.m. at the Western Sussex Boys & Girls Club. Elks Dinner-Auction
On Saturday, March 6, at 6:30 p.m., the Seaford Elks Lodge will hold their 9th annual oyster and ham dinner, followed by auction of handmade and donated items then entertainment with “Hawaiian George.” Proceeds to benefit the Elks National Foundation. Seaford Republican Women’s Club, Thursday, Feb. 26, 10:30 a.m., at Seaford Golf & Country Club. Speaker will be Barbara Ellingsworth of Nanticoke Health Services talking about heart health. 65th annual Seaford Lions Club 65th annual Variety Show, March 18, 19, 20, Seaford High School auditorium, 8 p.m. Tickets ($5 in advance; $6 at the door) available from Lions members or at Wilmington Trust, Seaford.

Dept. of Parks and Recreation
