Storm dumps foot of snow on western sussex. More than a foot of snow fell in western Sussex County last Sunday and Monday. Rain on Monday helped to keep the snowfall totals down. No serious incidents resulted from the storm in western Sussex, but many people were called out to help with snow removal and to respond to a few minor emergencies. Little league sign-ups - The Nanticoke Little League will be holding sign-ups for the 2003 season on Saturday, Feb. 22, from 9 a.m. to noon at the former PK Video building on Stein Highway in Seaford. No late fees will be charged, since the weather conditions for the previous sign-up were bad. There will be one more date for sign-ups, which is March 1, and a $10 late fee will be charged.
