Laurel Public Library Children’s Programs
  • Friday, March 7, 10 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. - Dr. Seuss’ Birthday Party.
  • Come help us celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday! Enjoy favorite Dr. Seuss stories read by ladies from the Laurel New Century Club. Refreshments!
  • Tuesday, March 11, 3-5 p.m. - Craft Program.
  • Children ages 6 and older are invited to come and make crafts to decorate the Children’s Room!
  • Saturday, March 22, at 12:30 p.m. - Puppet Workshop.
  • Children ages 6 and older are invited to come and make puppets for a favorite children’s story! Space is limited, and pre-registration is required.
  • Tuesday, March 25, 6:30 p.m. - Family Story Hour.

  • For families with children of all ages. Interested children are invited to read a poem of short story. For more information, or to register for a program, call the Laurel Public Library, 875-3184.
Miss & Little Miss Laurel
Miss and Little Miss Laurel pageant will be held at Laurel Senior High School, on April 26, 7 p.m. Applications are available at the Laurel Library, Todd Income Tax, and Christ United Methodist Church. For information call Carol, 875-7114. Application deadline is April 15. This pageant is sponsored by the Laurel Exchange Club.
