Laurel Homebound Program
The Laurel New Century Club, in cooperation with the Laurel Public Library, is offering as a pilot program, a Homebound Outreach Program for Laurel residents. Books and other library materials will be picked up and delivered on a monthly basis by a Laurel New Century volunteer. Contact Kristen Gramer at the Laurel Public Library at 875-3184.

Laurelís July 4 parade
Any veteran who would like to participate in Laurelís July 4th parade may call Jim Allen at 875-5351. Those unable to walk may ride on the float. Uniforms needed ó Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, WACS, WAVES, and Nurses.
Lions hold Basket Bingo
The Laurel Lioness Club will be sponsoring a Longaberger Basket Bingo on Tuesday, March 19, at the Laurel Fire Hall. Doors open at 6 p.m., bingo starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. To reserve tickets call Bea Wright at 875-2674 or Brenda Elliott at 875-7257.
