Senior Center Open House
Nanticoke Senior Center will hold an Open House on Monday, March 17, from 7 a.m.-2 p.m. Special speakers, light refreshments, and entertainment will be order of the day. The center is celebrating 32 years of service to the seniors.

Longwood Gardens trip
The Seaford Department of Parks and Recreation is planning a trip to Longwood Gardens Acres of Spring, on Saturday, May 12. Cost is: $28 for adults: $20 for young adults, 16-20; $16 for children 6-15; $14 for children 5 and under. Prices include bus fare on a motor coach and admission to the gardens. Bus leaves Seaford at 7 a.m., and leaves Longwood Gardens at 5 p.m. to return to Seaford. Registration deadline is April 23 by 5 p.m. Call Parks and Recreation to register or for more information, 629-6809.

All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast
The Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 4961 on Middleford Road in Seaford will hold an All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast on March 16, from 8 until 11 a.m., at the Post. The breakfast will include meats, eggs cooked to order, potatoes, pancakes, toast, coffee, and juice. The price is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children under 12. Bring your family and help support this organization that gives so much to the community.

Downtown Association
The Downtown Seaford Association will meet on Monday, March 17, at 7 a.m. at Pizza King Restaurant on Stein Highway.

Basket Bingo
The Women of the Moose, Seaford Chapter #1384 will hold a Longaberger Basket Bingo Tuesday, March 18, at the Seaford Moose Lodge. Doors open at 6 p.m. Games start at 7 p.m. For information call 875-3792 and leave message.
Seaford Library exhibit
March is National Quilting Month, and in recognition of their astounding creative abilities, Seaford District Library is hosting a month-long exhibit of a few ladies representing the very creative group, The DelMarValous Quilters. There are over 20 quilts of various themes, sizes and hues adorning the walls of the Conference room and in a display case in the Library lobby. The DelMarValous Quilters are a group of approximately 100 folks who meet the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:30 at the Delaware Extension Office in Georgetown. This exhibit was coordinated by Lenny Truitt. Seaford District Library is open Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This exhibit is free and open to the public.

Dinner and Auction
All-You-Can-Eat Lasagna Dinner & Auction to benefit the Seaford High School Band, Saturday, May 10, 2003 at St. Johnís United Methodist Church located at Third and Pine streets in Seaford. Take-outs will be available from 4 to 5 p.m. only. Dinner will be served at 4:30 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by the Seaford High School Jazz Band, under the direction of Harvey Bullock, S.H.S. Band Director. Auction will begin at 6 p.m. Tickets available at the door or in advance from band parents. Adults, $8; Ages 4-12, $4; 3 and under are free. Basket Bingo tickets
The Kiwanis Club of Seaford is holding a Basket Bingo Night on Saturday, March 29, at the Western Sussex County Boys & Girls Club, 310 Virginia Avenue, Seaford. Door open at 6 p.m. and the games start at 7 p.m. Tickets in advance are $20 and may be purchased at the Seaford Star office at 628 West Stein Highway in the former PK City building, now owned by Nanticoke Health Services. The Basket Bingo features door prizes given away after each game. Players receive a free raffle ticket with advance ticket purchase. Tickets are also available from Kiwanis members, Soil Service and Ambassador Travel. Buy tickets early and save. Tickets at the door are $25. Call 629-9788 for details.
