Public forum on Children’s Behaviors is March 26
Seaford American Association of University Women (AAUW) invites the public to a forum featuring a presentation on Children’s Behaviors on March 26, at the Seaford District Library, beginning at 7 p.m. Key note speaker will be Dr. Anthony Policastro. Dr. Policastro is currently the senior vice president of Medical Affairs at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. He is also a pediatrician and has been an associate professor of Pediatrics at USUHS. In addition, Dr. Policastro holds various honors, has written articles for medical journals on pediatric issues, and is a member of various organizations including The Society for Behavioral Pediatrics.
Self-paced instruction for allied healthcare workers
Allied healthcare workers can earn required continuing education credits with self-paced, computer-based instruction modules approved by the American Association of Respiratory Care. The courses are available through the Prometric Testing Center at Delaware Technical & Community College, Owens Campus, Georgetown. Each module costs $25; dates and times can be arranged by calling the Prometric Testing Center at (302) 855-5928.
