Laurel Lions Basket Bingo
The Laurel Lioness Club will be sponsoring a Longaberger Basket Bingo on Tuesday, March 19, at the Laurel Fire Hall. Doors open at 6 p.m., bingo starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. To reserve tickets call Bea Wright at 875-2674 or Brenda Elliott at 875-7257.

Cub Pack 90 Breakfast
Cub Scout Pack 90 will hold a Breakfast at Centenary Church, Saturday, March 16, from 7 to 11 a.m. The dinners are $5 each, all you can eat. Come and support the scouts.

Library reaches out to homebound in community
The Laurel New Century Club, in cooperation with the Laurel Public Library, is offering an outreach program for homebound Laurel residents. Books and other library materials will be picked up and delivered on a monthly basis by a Laurel New Century volunteer. For details, contact Kristen Gramer at the Laurel Public Library at 875-3184.
Deadline to sign up for pageants is April 15
Applications can be found at the following places for the Little Miss Laurel and Miss Laurel pageants: Toddís Income Tax Services, Laurel High School, Wilmington Trust Bank and Laurel Library. For details, call 875-7114. Deadline to sign up for the pageant is April 15. The Laurel Exchange Club is sponsoring this pageant again for the 52nd year.

Lions Club variety show set
This yearís Laurel Lionís Club variety show, ďA Night At The Races,Ē will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 4, 5 and 6, at Laurel High School. All shows start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for adults cost $5, $4 for children 12 and under. Tickets are available from Farrellyís Plumbing and Heating, The Insurance Market, and OíNeals Jewelry in Laurel. Tickets are also available from all Laurel Lionís Club members, and at the door. Proceeds from the show go to all local, national, and international Lionís projects.
