Seaford has two candidates - Two candidates have filed for the five-year term on the Seaford Board of Education. Raymond L. Thomas of 728 Nylon Boulevard filed Feb. 9 and James H. VanVleck of 21040 Camp Road, filed on March 5. The Seaford School Board election will be May 8.

No election in Woodbridge - Only one candidate filed for the five-year seat on the Woodbridge School Board by Tuesday's filing deadline. Willis G. Dewey of 9812 Sunnyside Road, Bridgeville, filed March 13.

Annexation election Monday - Seaford is holding an annexation election on Monday, March 19, between the hours of 2 and 6 p.m. The land under consideration for annexation is owned by B&C Properties, the owners of the Harbor House seafood business. The land is located next to the Harbor House and is comprised of 20,000 square feet.
