Greenwood Prayer Breakfast
Greenwood CHEER is sponsoring a Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, March 20. A pancake breakfast with eggs and sausage will be served from 9 to 11 a.m. Daniel Shelston will be giving a message at 10 a.m. Cost of the breakfast is $3 in advance and $4 at the door. There will be yard sale from 8 a.m. to noon. Tables are available for the yard sale for $10. Call Shelley Strain 349-5237.

Church of the Nazarene
On Saturday, March 20, at 7 p.m., Pastor Morris and congregation from United Church of the First Born, in Salisbury, Md., will be at the United Church of the Nazarene, 4718 Jackson St., Hurlock, Md. The public is invited. Pastor is Ebenzer Williamson, the co-pastor is Evangelist. On Sunday, March 21, at 5 p.m., Pastor Clarke from the First Deliverance Church; Delmar, Md. will be at the church. Galestown yard & craft sale
Galestown United Methodist Church Community Hall will be the site of a yard and craft sale, on Saturday, March 27, at 7 a.m. until? Scrapple and oyster sandwiches, and homemade vegetable soup will also be available.

Latin Mass March 21
A Latin mass according to the Missal of 1962 is celebrated on the third Sunday of every month at 3 p.m. at Holy Cross Church in Dover. The mass will be celebrated on March 21. The mass is always a Missa Cantata using traditional Gregorian chant. For further information, call 674-5905 or 629-8863.

Men’s and Women’s Day
Macedonia A.M.E. Church will celebrate its annual Men’s and Women’s Day on Sunday, March 21. The theme for this year is “Men and Women Working for God.” Morning worship will begin at 11 with the Rev. Dania R. Griffin preaching. Afternoon service will begin at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Luther L. Walker III from Emmanuel A.M.E. Church of Hartley as the guest speaker. Dinner will be served following the morning service.
Brahms ‘Requiem’
Guest organist Stephen Karr accompanies the Delaware Choral Society in its presentation of Brahms “Requiem,” set for 7:30 p.m. at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 100 Cross St., in Chestertown, Md., on Friday, March 26,at 2 p.m.; at People’s United Church of Christ, 42 Bradford St. in Dover, on Sunday, March 28. This is the 47th annual concert series for the 90-voice Delaware Choral Society, starting in December with a presentation of Felix Mendelssohn’s “Elijah.” The second concert in the series will be the “Requiem” of Johannes Brahms. Quilt show and luncheon
A quilt show and luncheon will be held Saturday, March 27, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church in Laurel, admission is $10. Food includes: homemade chicken salad, muffins, and desserts. Bed quilts, antique quilts and wall hangings will be on display, 875-2729.

‘Spiritual Awakening’
The Laurel-Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Charge will host a “Spiritual-Awakening Weekend” on March 25, 26, 27, and 28, at St. George’s United Methodist Church on St. George Road, Delmar. Everyone is welcome for all activities and services. There will be Bible studies, meals, music and worship services. ‘Reunion’ March 28
On Sunday, March 28, St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, in Laurel, will have in concert the southern gospel group “Reunion.” The program will begin at 7 p.m. St. Paul’s is located on Old Stage Road, just east US 13.
