Quilt Show and Luncheon
Quilt show and luncheon, Saturday, March 27, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church in Laurel, admission is $10. Food includes: homemade chicken salad, muffins, and desserts. Bed quilts, antique quilts and wall hangings will be on display, 875-2729.

Laurel Easter Parade
The 4th annual Easter Parade is scheduled for Saturday, April 3, in Laurel beginning at noon. Participants are needed. Chicken Barbecue April 10
Chicken barbeque, rain or shine, Saturday, April 10, 10 a.m., corner of routes 9 and 13 in Laurel. Platters consist of 1/2-chicken, chips, roll, pickle for $5. We will deliver to businesses. Call 875-0768 in advance to make arrangements. Benefits DE Storm 12 U Baseball Team.

Alumni Cow Drop Upcoming
The Laurel Alumni Association Cow Drop will be April 18. Tickets are for sale at O’Neal Bros., MCM Jewelers, and the Insurance Market for $10 per square. This is a major fund raiser for scholarships.

Laurel Alumni Banquet
The 14th Annual Banquet of the Laurel Alumni Association, Saturday, May 15, at the Laurel Fire Hall, Social hour from 5-6:15 p.m., dinner at 6:30 p.m. Classes to be honored: 1934, 1944, 1954, 1964, 1974, 1979, and 1984.
