Safe Saturday for Sussex April 21 - Delaware State Police will be hosting the 2nd Annual "Safe Saturday for Sussex" on April 21. The event will be held at the Delaware Technical and Community College, Georgetown, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be many items on display, including fire apparatus, rescue vehicles, ambulances, the State Police Helicopter, police vehicles, and many other pieces of equipment used to ensure public safety. Child safety seat technicians will be on hand to demonstrate the proper method for installing child safety seat devices. In addition Trooper Recruiters will be available to talk with anyone who may be interested in a career as a State Trooper.
