Basket and Pottery Bingo

Epworth’s Annual Festival
Epworth Christian School 7th annual Spring Festival on Saturday, May 1, at the school on Sycamore Road in Laurel. Features include: craft show, music, and antique farm equipment display, from noon to 6 p.m.; children’s games 2-6 p.m.; all-day softball tournament; and food, with barbecue chicken available 2-6 p.m. Call 875-4488 for more information and barbecue tickets.

Teams Needed for Relay
The 2004 West Sussex Relay for Life, will be Friday, June 4, and Saturday, June 5, at Soroptimist Park on Middleford Road in Seaford. Relay held to benefit American Cancer Society. Cruisin’ for the Cure
‘Cruisin’ for the Cure’ to Bermuda Oct. 24 Dr. Marie Wolfgang has announced a cruise to Bermuda to benefit the American Cancer Society “Relay for Life.” The group will be leaving Seaford on a chartered bus, sailing out of Baltimore on Oct. 24, returning on Oct. 31. The Norwegian Crown will dock in the towns of Hamilton, St. George and King’s Wharf. Space at this group rate is limited. Three Little Bakers
The Seaford Department of Park sand Recreation will be hosting a trip to the Three Little Bakers Dinner Theatre in Wilmington on Sunday, May 16, cost $57.95. Since 1972, the Three Little Bakers have provided an entertainment package with superb dining and fantastic Broadway shows and celebrity events. Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis — there are only 42 tickets available. 629-6809. The cost includes bus fee as well as a dinner and show. Seats will be close to the stage.

Washington Zoo Trip
The Seaford Department of Parks and Recreation trip to National Zoo, Washington, D.C., planned for June 12, cost $14 per person.See exotic animals such as panda bears, cheetahs, apes, lions, elephants, as ell as many others. Attend a demonstration such as fish feeding or stork feeding. You may pack a lunch or eat in one of the park’s many cafes. We will depart from the back high school parking lot at 8 a.m. and will leave the zoo at 4 p.m. to return to Seaford. The deadline to sign up is May 28. Nanticoke Senior Center Trip
Three Little Bakers, “The Music Man,” matinee center stage seats, on Thursday, June 10, departure time 10 a.m., from Nanticoke Senior Center. Included in trip, motor coach transportation, great food and fabulous desserts, cost $60 members, $65 non-members. Phone 629-4939.
