SSA Yard Sale May 15
Seaford Swimming Association (the Pool in the Woods) yard sale, Saturday, May 15. All SSA members are encouraged to drop off donations between 5 and 7 p.m. on May 14. Tables are available for $10. Call B. Duke 629-3486.

VFW Spring Event
The VFW and Ladiesí Auxiliary of Post 4961 in Seaford spring fund raiser, Saturday, May 8, 2-8 p.m. Included in the activities will be a silent auction, a regular auction, a cake wheel, raffles, and 50/50s. A buffet dinner will be at 4 p.m. the cost of the dinner is $7 for a single and $10 for a couple. Tickets will be available at the door or from auxiliary members. A DJ will provide entertainment. The purpose of this fundraiser is to aid the auxiliary president who has been stricken with cancer.

Lutherans Yard Sale
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans yard sale Saturday, May 8, at Christ Lutheran Church, corner of Shipley and Spruce streets in Seaford. Tables or 100-sq.-ft. spaces will be available for rent for $10. Donations of items for the yard sale are welcome. Call 629-9755. All proceeds will benefit Christ Lutheran Church.

FOP Basket Bingo May 13
Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #9 Longaberger Basket Bingo, Thursday, May 13, 7 p.m. at the VFW, Middleford Road in Seaford, 20 games and will feature several basket combinations. Advance tickets are $20 per person, $25 at the door. Refreshments will be available. For ticket information phone 628-5352.
Seaford Alumni Banquet
The Seaford High School Alumni Association will hold their annual banquet on Saturday, May 15, at the Seaford Golf and Country Club. Social hour will start at 5:30 p.m. and the buffet dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. Honored classes will be the class of 1934, 1944, and 1954. Entertainment by Bunky and Dottie Eye. Classes Begin May 10
Fitness classes start up again on Monday, May 10, and Tuesday, May 11 at St. Johnís United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall (sponsored by St. Johnís But open to the public). Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, 9 a.m. only, free childcare; and Tuesdays, Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. Beginners to intermediate participants welcome in this co-ed, non-competitive, muscle-toning, stretching/hi-lo aerobic class. Annual Yard Sale on May 22
Annual yard sale, Seaford District Library, Saturday, May 22, 7 a.m. - noon. Donated articles can be left at the library on May 20 and 21.

Acorn Club Meeting
The General Federation of Womenís Clubs-Acorn Club of Seaford, Inc., will meet at the Eastern Star on Thursday, May 13, for the annual club banquet, at 6 p.m., social; and 6:30 p.m., dinner. Entertainment by Earl and Helen. Hostesses Phyllis Nelson and Eleanor Hickey and committee.
