Mike and I wish our daughter, Monica Shubert, a very happy 29th birthday on May 27. The years have gone by too fast; it seems like yesterday you were born.

A retirement dinner will be held in honor of the Rev. Dr. John T. Randolph June 8 at the Delmar VFW. Social hour will be from 4 to 5 with dinner at 5 p.m. Tickets are $15. Call Alvin Palmer, 846-3728, for more details.

As of Friday, May 16, Letitia Fisher was in Fondren ICU. Congratulations to Les Twilley III, grandson of Lelah Crockett and the late Austin Crockett. Les will graduate from West Point on May 31. He was on the deanŪs list throughout his four years of college with a 3.9 average. His family and friends must be very proud. Way to go Les!

St. Stephens choir will hold a social get-together after church May 25 for Lucille Causey in her honor of 50 years of dedication to the choir.

Mildred West entertained her pinochle club at her home on Wednesday, May 21, with great refreshments and lot of fun.
