New city hall - A committee chaired by Sally Higgins is looking into the construction of a city hall in Seaford. Mayor Daniel B. Short Jr. said the committee will look at the property the city owns at the corner of High and Market streets as the probable site. The committee will ask Seaford Volunteer Fire Dept. officials if they are interested in joining in the construction project at this location. Another possibility is to attract tenants, such as a financial institution. Another concern of the committee will be to help determine what will become of the current city hall location at King and Cannon streets.
