Earl Radding claims bronze metal - Earl Radding, Greenwood, formerly of Seaford, recently returned home from competing in the national Senior Olympics in Hampton Roads, Va. He claimed a bronze metal in bowling in the 90 to 94 age group with a combined three-game score of 463. Radding was one of 338 Delawareans who participated in the games.

Museum site of After Hours Mixer - The Greater Seaford Chamber of Commerce is holding a Business After Hours Mixer on Thursday, July 10, 5 to 7 p.m. at the Seaford Museum, 203 high St. The Mixer will be hosted by the Seaford Historical Society. RSVP the chamber at 629-9690.

Woodland Ferry Festival scheduled - Plans for the Woodland Ferry Festival are under way. Courtney White said this year’s festival is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 13, and will start with a breakfast at Woodland United Methodist Church. This year’s entertainment lineup will include the Humanaires, The Jones Boys and The Grandpa Jammers. For more information call 629-8077.

No Circus this year for the Fair - The Towne & Country Fair, scheduled for Saturday of the Labor Day weekend, had hoped to include a circus this year. The Greater Seaford Chamber of Commerce reports that the circus will not be coming. However, more events are being added to this year’s Towne Fair. In recent years a Prayer Breakfast and Talent Show have been added and the list of entertainment and special attractions has grown along with attendance. More details later. SBA will help host Business Day - The Small Business Administration will be in Seaford on Thursday, June 26, from 10 a.m. to noon for “Small Business Day in Seaford.” The meeting, hosted by the SBA and the Greater Seaford Chamber of Commerce, will be held at the Hampton Inn, US 13, Seaford.
