After-hours NightLife
The Laurel Library will hold an after-hours NightLife at the Library program for teens on Friday, July 12, from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Bring a T-Shirt and learn new ways to decorate it. Master Storyteller in Laurel
The Laurel Public Library is pleased to announce a special performance by Master Storyteller Michael Richmond Boudewyns on Monday, July 15, at 2 p.m. The performance is free, and will be enjoyed by children and adults of all ages. For more information call the library at 875-3184.

Laurel salute to agriculture
Laurel is happy to announce the up-coming salute to local agriculture as another activity within the town’s bicentennial celebration on Saturday, Aug. 24. Laurel will be hosting a tractor parade and open-air produce market that will be available to the public for their viewing delight and provide locally grown fruits and vegetables for canning or immediate table fare. Jerry Warrington will parade and show his vintage tractor collection, others will parade floats and strut their stuff as groups or individuals. Park to be scene of music
“Music in the Park” is held every Thursday night June through September at the Laurel Park, starting at 6:30 and ending at 8 p.m. Following is the summer schedule:
