Delmar Bingo Craze will be held Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Delmarva Convention Center, Delmar, Md. Doors open at 5 p.m., Early Birds 6 p.m.; Regular games at 7 p.m. Tickets are $40 in advance and $45 at the door. Tickets can be bought on Tuesday Night Delmar VFW Bingo, 200 W. Cash payout: regular games - $300; Special games - $500; Jackpot from $2,500 up to $5,000*. (*Based on the number of people.)

Delmar Kiwanis will be issuing the new 2003-2004 Delmar telephone book the latter part of November. If your name is not in the previous telephone book and would like to have it listed, please call one of the Kiwanis members, which are listed in the back of Delmar telephone book with their phone numbers. If you like to advertise a new business in the directory give them a call also.
Come out to the Delmarva Convention Center in Delmar for the Delmar Bingo Craze which will be held Saturday, Aug. 3. Doors will open at 5 p.m. and early bird bingo will start at 6 p.m., regular bingo at 7 p.m.
You can buy tickets in advance for $40 from any VFW member or at the door for $45. Regular games have a $300 jackpot. Special games have a $500 jackpot and the big jackpot will be from $2,500 to $5,000. Proceeds will go toward the Delmar Little League and VFW building fund.

There is a special program at the library this week: On July 18, Catie Shinlctary will present an interactive live theater arts program, “The Little Sparrow.” This is part of the Summer Reading Program and will be held on Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. at the Delmar Library. Everyone is invited. Admission is free.
The Delmar Alumni Association held a meeting on Thursday, July 11. Pat Wood did a great job of getting things organized. The group is getting its bylaws and slate of officers prepared and is planning a social event around the time of homecoming. The group is still looking for ways to attract members. Everyone who would like to support the group and help Delmar Middle and High School is encouraged to join. This group is not just for graduates of Delmar High School. The next meeting will be Aug. 20 at 7:30 p.m. Mark your calendar for this date and time.
