Doing the Town Together
Sarah Marie Trivits

We extend our congratulations to Joshua R. Chubb, who graduated from Juniata College, Huntington, Pa., with a bachelor of arts degree in communication with conflict studies. While attending college, Josh also played varsity football and did an internship his senior year in sports information. He is a 1988 graduate of Laurel High School and is the son of Bill and Marsha Chubb of Laurel.

Dr. Joseph Elliott is now residing in Seaford and his current address is: Seaford Health Center, 1100 Norman Eskridge Highway, Seaford, DE, 19973, room 112A. Recently his son Joe Jr. visited for a weekend with dad and mother, M.L.

The Possum Point Junior players will present their production of Peter Pan (one of their best yet!), on Aug. 1, at 10 a.m.; Aug. 2, 7 p.m.; Aug. 3, 7 p.m.; and Aug. 4th, at 2 p.m. Insley Fowler of our town will play the role of Wendy. All tickets are general admission, no reserved seats. Call now for yours (856-4560) and spend a delightful evening in “Never-never Land.”

Best belated wishes for a happy 10th anniversary to Dawn and Jamie Wilson, who celebrated on July 11.
Chad and Christy West of Manhattan visited with his aunt and uncle, Edna and Doug Marvil, en route to Pullman, Wash., where he will be serving his residency for his DVM degree. Chad is the son of Leroy and Ellen West of Laurel.

We express our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Doris Culver.

Our prayers and concerns go out for those who are ill: Howard Elliott, David West, Emma Wootten, John McGlaughlin, Al Trivits, Dr. Joe Elliott, Pat Roller, Ida Spurry and George Lowe.

Very special happy birthday wishes go to my “very special” daughter-in-law, Kim Trivits, July 19, with love, Mom.
