READYING FOR JULY LAUNCH

First State Crane lifts the stern of the Woodland Ferry under the direction of Delaware Department of Transportation area supervisor Jessie Millman. Workers will remove the chocking in preparation for an anticipated launch the last week of July. Final repairs to the deck and wheelhouse are taking place this week in anticipation of a Coast Guard inspection. The ferry should be fully operational by the first week in August.
