First Baptist Church VBS
First Baptist Church of Seaford will have Castle Kids Vacation Bible School with Bible stories, crafts, games, puppets, skits, snacks and prizes, July 26-30, from 9 a.m.-noon. Asbury/Blades Charge VBS
Asbury/Blades United Methodist Charge Vacation Bible School at Asbury, Rt. 9, near Hardscrabble, Aug. 2-6, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. “Construction Inc.* In the Name of Christ” will be the theme, as God is the creator of all. Bible lessons, music, snacks, crafts, and games. Also, there will be an adult class led by Duane Smith each evening. The theme will mirror that of the children’s so families will share the same experience. A nursery for infants will be available. The event will end Friday evening with a picnic style meal, a sharing of music and awards with the families. For details or to register call 854-0193.

Missions Trip to Buffalo
A missions trip is being planned by Keith Baker of the Bridgeville Church of God to go to Buffalo, N.Y., from Aug. 23 to Aug. 27. If you’re interested, call the church at 337-3044 for more information.
Union UMC holds VBS
Vacation Bible School will be Aug. 8-12 for preschool through sixth grade from 6:30-8 p.m. at Union United Methodist Church, 2 North Laws St., Bridgeville. Registration begins Sunday, Aug. 8, at 6 p.m. Call 337-7409 for more information.

Charity Auction
Take My Hand Ministry sixth annual charity auction, Saturday, Aug. 7. Preview from 9-10 a.m., and bidders on the go may negotiate a price with auctioneer Tommy Tucker of Greenwood, at Greenwood Memorial VFW Post #7478 on Governors Avenue. Proceeds benefit TMHM’s needy client fund. All donations are tax-deductible since TMHM is a non-profit 501 (C)(3) organization. To make a donation contact Dr. Michaele S. Russell at 349-4220. Clothes, appliances, and sports equipment are not accepted. Checks should be made payable to: Take My Hand Ministry with “charity auction” on the memo line. Refreshments and baked goods available.

Yard Sale and Barbecue

Woodland VBS
A new Bible Study will begin at Woodland UMC on Tuesday, Julyl 27, at 7:30 p.m. Youth Bible Study is for those in Middle School and up and will last for six weeks. The study is “Reflectios of the Passion of Christ.” For details call 629-8724.
