‘Toad’s Escape’ July 29
The Seaford District Library’s 2003 “Laugh It Up @ Your Library” Summer Reading Program will be featuring The Rehoboth Summer Children’s Theatre on Tuesday, July 29 at 2 p.m. They will be presenting “Toad’s Escape” a two-actor, high energy, hilarious production adapted from the classic book, “The Wind In The Willows” by Kenneth Grahame. Join us and find out what happens to Toad and his friend Mole in this fun-filled show of adventure! The program is free and open to all the public. Call the library at 629-2524 for more information.

Christmas & Gift Show
Seaford Department of Parks and Recreation trip to Harrisburg, Penn., for a Christmas & Gift Show will be on Saturday, Dec. 6. Shop at the largest holiday show in the country with more than 500 vendors, with unique gifts priced from $2-$700. See a life-size recreation of an Olde Christmas Village, decorated trees and mantles, 100-foot train display, choral and musical groups, cooking clinics, dance troupe and more. Show tickets are $5. Motor Coach cost is $21. Depart from Seaford at 7 a.m., leave Pennsylvania for home at 5 p.m. with a dinner stop in Lancaster at 6 p.m. Reserve your spot by Friday, Nov. 14.

Christmas Spectacular
Seaford Department of Parks and Recreation trip to Radio City Music Hall “Christmas Spectacular” in New York will be Sunday, Dec. 7. Tickets are $87, which includes ticket to the show and transportation by motor coach. The noon show, lasting approximately 1-1/2 hours. From 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. you will have free time for eating, shopping or sight-seeing. Depart for home at 5:45 p.m. Forty-six tickets are available on a first-come first-serve basis.
Concerts in the Park
Seaford Main Street will once again be hosting their Concerts in the Park series. The series will feature free monthly concerts at Gateway Park located at High and Market streets. The concerts are:
  • Aug. 4 - Danny Shivers
  • Aug. 18 - Thensome
  • Sept. 15 - Sounds of Joy Trio
