Republican Candidates’ Dinner
Seaford Republican Women’s Club on Sunday, Aug. 15, will host a dinner at the Nanticoke Yacht Club to meet the 10 candidates running for offices in November. Anne Nesbitt is overseeing all the arrangements. Tickets are available from any member. Cost is $17.50 per person.
Seaford Elks Luau
The Seaford Elk Lodge, Elk Road, Seaford, annual Luau, Saturday, Aug. 14. Tony Windsor will be the featured floor show attraction with his tribute to “Elvis, the Legend.” DJ great Paul Foskey will spin Big Band sounds and old rock n’ roll from 9 p.m until midnight. Bar opens at 5:30, hors d’oeuvres at 6 p.m., dinner at 7. Cost is $15 each or $30 a couple.
