Church holding revivals
God's House of Deliverance is holding revival services through Sept. 7, 7:30 p.m. Daniel Akins, pastor at Ramoth Gilead, Nylon Shopping Center, Seaford, is the speaker. The church is at 128 East Market St., Laurel.

St. Luke's to change schedule
On Sunday, Sept. 9, St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Seaford, will revert back to the winter time schedule with Holy Eucharist Sunday mornings at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Church school will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday evening services are held at 7 p.m. Adult choir rehearsals will begin at 7 p.m. each Thursday starting Sept. 6.

Bethel to hold supper
On Saturday, Sept. 8, 6 p.m., a covered"dish supper will be held at Bethel Church community building, Oak Grove, at 6 p.m. For details call Lucy Slacum, 629"7117.

Dinner and yard sale set
Clarence Street Church of God is having a yard sale Saturday, Sept. 8. The yard sale will begin at 7 a.m. Dinners will be sold starting at 11 a.m.

Kids' day in park set
Laurel Wesleyan Church will hold its second annual Kids Day at Market Street Park, Laurel, Sunday, Sept. 9, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Children age 3 to 11 are welcome. There is no admission charge.

Women's ministry to meet
The Ninety & Nine will hold its quarterly dinner meeting at the Methodist Manor House in Seaford, Monday, Sept. 10, at 6:30 p.m. Dr. Michele Russell, founder of Take My Hand Ministry in Greenwood will speak. Aerobics set to start
The fall session of Body & Soul Christian Aerobics & Strength Training will begin the week of Sept. 10 with classes being offered Monday and Thursday evenings from 7 to 8 p.m. or Friday mornings from 9:15 to 10:15. St. Luke's selling mums
St. Lukes Episcopal Church is holding its annual mum sale. Plants in 9"inch pots cost $3.50 and are available in yellow, pink, lavender, red and white. Jericho guest speaker set
The monthly meeting of Jericho will feature Sadie Brunson from Evangelistic Ministry, Wilmington, as guest speaker. The meeting will be Tuesday, Sept. 11, 7 p.m., at Mt. Olivet Church, High Street, Seaford.

Macedonia to mark 140 years
Macedonia AME Church, Seaford, will celebrate its 140th anniversary with a revival beginning Tuesday, Sept. 11, with the Rev. Torri Hassel, pastor, Antioch AME Church, Frankford. On Wednesday, Sept. 12, the Rev. Walter Davis from St. Paul AME Church, Harrington, will speak and on Thursday, Sept. 13, the Rev. Johnny Woods from First Pilgrim Baptist Church, Camden, will speak. A banquet will be Saturday, Sept. 15, 5 p.m., at Seaford Fire Hall, King Street, Seaford. Tickets are $20. For tickets call 628"5193 or 629"9322.
