Rains punctuate Towne & Country Fair

Rains from Tropical Storm Dennis sent showers through the area Saturday during the Towne & Country Fair at the Ross Mansion. The worst of the showers came in the form of a cloud burst about 4 p.m. Despite the bad weather, George Beauchamp, executive director of the Greater Seaford Chamber of Commerce, estimates that 3,500 people visited the fair throughout the event, which ended with a spectacular fireworks display.
