Nanticoke Homes, Inc. starts process of selling properties
Henry H. Hanna, III, CCIM, of Long & Foster Commercial, was recently selected by Nanticoke Homes, Inc. and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware to manage the sale of several of the Nanticoke properties. The main production facility in Greenwood, is currently being offered for sale at $5,200,000. This 370,000-square-foot manufacturing facility is situated on 54 acres. Along with the main plant, Hanna and Long & Foster are also marketing several of the smaller commercial sites in Sussex and Kent counties for Nanticoke. During its peak years, Nanticoke Homes produced almost 1,000 homes per year and employed 500 people. At the time of closing, Nanticoke Homes was still employing over 100 people. Currently, several parties are considering re-opening the plant for manufactured housing production.
