Rainbows to meet tonight
Rainbows, a support group for children and families who have experienced loss through death, divorce, or abandonment, will begin at St. John's Church in Seaford tonight at 7 p.m. Children work in small groups with trained facilitators and age-appropriate materials to help them express feelings resulting from their loss. An optional parent support group is offered at the same time. Call 629-9466 to register for this free program.

Centenary to offer training
Training for Sunday school teachers will be offered at Centenary United Methodist Church, Laurel, Saturday, Sept. 22, 10 a.m. to noon, in the nursery. For details, call the church office at 875-3983.

Galloways to be in concert
Epworth Christian School athletic department will present The Galloways at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at Epworth Fellowship Church.

King's U.M.C. plans festival
King's United Methodist Church, Gordy Road, Laurel, will hold its fall festival Saturday, Sept. 22, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be oyster sandwiches, hot dogs, baked goods, craft vendors and free games for the kids. For more information call 846-2292.

Cash Family coming to Blades
Gospel recording group the Cash Family will be at Blades United Methodist Church, 306 South Market St., Sunday, Sept. 23, at 11 a.m. Based in Felton, this southern gospel group has been traveling and singing along the East Coast and into the Ohio Valley for more than 25 years.

Annual antique show set
Centenary United Methodist Church, Poplar and Market streets, Laurel, will hold its 49th annual antique show and sale Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 25 and 26. Tuesday hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch will be served Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Wednesday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. A chicken and dumpling dinner will be served Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Cost is $7 adults and $3 for children 6 to 12.

Church selling coupon books
The Rock Church Fellowship is selling the 2002 Entertainment Book. Each book contains discount coupons for restaurants, movies, sports activities, attractions, travel and hotels. The Entertainment Book is effective now and costs $25. Proceeds will help support the Rock Church building fund. To order a book, contact the Rev. Attic Treasures to be sold
Gethsemane Church, Reliance, will hold its Attic Treasures Day Saturday, Sept. 29, 7 a.m. to noon. There will be an indoor/outdoor yard sale, baked goods, homemade soups and scrapple sandwiches. The church is located 5 miles west of Seaford on Delaware 20.

Annual day for women set
The Ladies Ministries of the Church of God of Prophecy, alternate US 13, Seaford, will hold their fourth annual Praise and Worship Day for Women Saturday, Oct. 6. The guest speaker for the 10 a.m. service will be Joyce Thomas, leader of the Ninety and Nine, speaking on "The Prayer of Jabez." The Smith Family will sing. Women's Day Services set
East Clarence Street Church of God, Seaford, will hold its annual Women's Day Services Sunday, Oct. 7, at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. The morning speaker is minister Alberta Waples. Guests for the 5 p.m. service are the Rev. Dorothy Wilson and the choir from Fitzwater Church of God in Philadelphia. Dinner will be served after the evening service.
