Milford man writes book
A book by Scott G. Sipple of Milford, “Stepping Out - From Conversion to Eternal Life,” has been published by Xuion Press. The 263-page book is the story of four conversions to Christianity that are found in the Bible, as well as of Sipple’s experiences following the death of a family member.
Sipple, 54, is the owner and operator of William V. Sipple & Son, a 134-year-old family business in Milford. Ten years ago, the death of a relative inspired Sipple to examine his own life.
The soul-searching that resulted transformed his life, he said.
Sipple hopes that both believers and non-believers will read his book, he said. But in particular he wants to reach people who are struggling to understand their faith or looking for more purpose or direction in their lives.
“Stepping Out” is available directly from the publisher, Xuion Press, at 1-866-909-2665 for $14.99. It will soon be available for distribution to more than 25,000 bookstores through Ingram and Spring Arbor, and Sipple is hoping some local bookstores will offer the book for sale.
