The Cash Family will be in concert Oct. 31
A gospel concert featuring the Cash Family of Felton will be held at Portsville United Methodist Church on Sunday, Oct. 31, 6:30 p.m. The church is located on Kenny Road just west of Bethel. For details, call 875-4672.

Gumboro church to host dessert theater
"Snap Shots and Portraits" will be performed Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 28-30, 7 p.m. at Gumboro Fellowship Church. Desserts will be prepared by women of the Mennonite Church. Cost is $12 per person. Proceeds will benefit the Sussex Pregnancy Care Center. For tickets, call 856-4344.

Concert will benefit school project
The Wesleyan Christian School, Denton, will hold a concert Friday, Oct. 29, 7 p.m., at its campground on Campground Road, Denton. Singers will be Lawrence Tyler, Unveil, Servant's Heart and Hearts Unveiled. Proceeds from the offering will benefit the school's Macedonian Project. For details, call (410)479-2292.

Revival services set for Sunday
Revival and delivery services will be held Sunday, Oct. 31, 4 to 6 p.m. in the Marina Pavilion in Federalsburg, Md. This is a joint effort between the Rev. A. Pusey of God Loves Your Ministries, Seaford, and pastor Tony Morris of Christian Outreach Ministries, Federalsburg. The theme is "Last Days Signs and Wonders."

Mt. Olivet to collect for UNICEF on Halloween
Children, youth and adults from Mount Olivet United Methodist Church in Seaford will collect donations for UNICEF this Halloween.
The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) was founded in 1946 to help children in the aftermath of World War II. An estimated 7 million children are saved each year by the efforts of UNICEF and its partners.
Last year, Mount Olivet collected $176 to send to UNICEF. Those collecting donations for UNICEF will have official orange boxes, imprinted with the UNICEF logo.

Melson's UMC to hold homecoming Oct. 31
Melson's United Methodist Church, approximately 5 miles east of Delmar at 32705 Melson Road, will have its annual homecoming on Sunday, Oct. 31, 10 a.m. with music provided by the Epworth Quartet from Laurel. A covered-dish dinner will be served following the service. For more information, call 846-2425.

First Baptist to host soloist on Sunday
Soloist Sandy Glass will perform Sunday, Oct. 31, at 7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 543 N. Bradford St., Seaford. The public is invited. There is no admission charge.

Hymn sing to be held at St. Paul's
St. Pauls' United Methodist Church will host a hymn sing Sunday, Oct. 31, 7 p.m. Refreshments will follow the service. The church is located on Sussex 68 near Laurel. For details, call 856-6107.
Galestown U.M.C. to hold homecoming
Galestown United Methodist Church's annual homecoming service will be held on Sunday, Oct. 31, 2 p.m. with dinner following the service. Speaker will be Dr. John Randolph, of St. Stephen's UMC of Delmar. Music will be by Tony Rosetta, pastor of Jerusalem UMC, and father and daughter, John and Rachel Brewer, from St. Stephen's UMC choir of Delmar.

Fall festival at Shiloh to be Nov. 6
Shiloh Community Church will hold its fall festival Nov. 6. There will be yard sales. Oysters and the trimmings will be available throughout the festival.

Ron Kenoly to be at Wicomico Center
Ron Kenoly, a Christian praise and worship leader, will be at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center, U.S. 50 at Civic Ave., Salisbury, on Saturday, Nov. 6, at 6 p.m. For tickets, call 410-548-4911.

Kids' Club set for every Wednesday
Christ United Methodist Church, Laurel, is hosting a weekly, after-school fellowship group for children called Kids' Club. The weekly fellowship group will include safe homework hours, tutoring, meals, music, recreation and crafts. The club will meet on each Wednesday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
The Rev. Dr. Brooks Reynolds of Christ United Methodist Church welcomes the children of the community to join the activities and fellowship.

Wesleyan Church plans family fall weekend
Laurel Wesleyan Church will host a "Fabulous Fall Family Weekend" Nov. 12-14. The following events have been planned:
Friday, Nov. 12 - community gospel sing at 7 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 13 - Family games and movie night. A children's movie as well as a movie for the adults, "A Vow To Cherish," will be shown.
Sunday, Nov. 14 - Friend Day. Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.; morning worship at 10:30 a.m.; pot-luck dinner at noon; baptismal service at 1 p.m.

Melson's UMC plans annual fall bazaar
Melson's 15th annual Harvest of Talents will be Saturday, Nov. 13, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Melson's Community Hall, 32704 Melson Road, approximately 5 miles east of Delmar, Md. There will be crafts, Christmas items, a country store and collectibles. Breakfast sandwiches an lunch featuring oyster sandwiches and homemade soup will be available. For details call 846-2431.

Lights of Home to be at Bethel homecoming
Bethel United Methodist Church will have its homecoming service on Sunday, Nov. 14, at 11 a.m. Guest singers will be The Lights of Home. Speaker will be pastor Richard Walton. A beef and dumpling dinner will follow the service.
