The winning team was Matt Davis, Bill Rust, Bill Ivory and Gary Passwaters. About $1,600 was raised, with 50 percent of the proceeds going to Kiwanis Woodbridge Student Scholarships and 50 percent pledged to the Woodbridge Athletic Association. Jeff Tull, Curt Futty, Tom Carey, Nina Miles and Carol Gasior helped to coordinate the event.

Recognition of new teachers and administrators at Woodbridge School District was coordinated by Richard Lewis, chairman, on Monday, Oct. 1, at Union United Methodist Church, Bridgeville. Incoming Kiwanis president, Carol Gasior, expresses her appreciation to Woodbridge superintendent Dr. Kevin Carson (also a member) for introducing the new teachers and administrators. The Bridgeville Kiwanis Club hosts this annual meeting to welcome the educators to the area and tell them about Kiwanis youth programs as K-Kids, Builder’s Clubs and Key Clubs. See pictures on page 9.
