Veterans Ceremony and Rally
Dick Drummond, chaplain of five local veterans groups, announces that the “Western Sussex County Veterans Day Ceremony and Memorial Rally” will be Sunday, Nov. 11, in the Seaford High School auditorium. State Rep. Tina Fallon will speak at 1 p.m. for a Veterans Day ceremony, followed at 1:30 by a Memorial Rally. Speakers will include Ron Chaney, a survivor of the Sept. 11 attack on the Pentagon, James Pickren of Seaford, whose office is near the World Trade Center, and William Filer, whose office was on the 66th floor of one of the towers.
