VETERANS’ PROGRAM ON NOV. 11 - There will be a veterans’ program on Thursday, Nov. 11, at Seaford’s Kiwanis Park starting at 11 a.m. Sponsored by American Legion Posts 6 and 37, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 9, Marine Corps League Unit 780, and VFW Post 4961, the guest speaker will be James Baxter. Baxter, of Georgetown, is a Vietnam veteran. There is no raindate and shelters will be provided. Following the program there will be open houses at Nanticoke Post 6 and VFW Post 4961.
