Support Group meeting
The Sussex Fibromyalgia Support Group will have its monthly meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 7 p.m. at the Methodist Manor House, 1001 Middleford Road, Seaford in the Wesley Wellness Center employee lunch room. Auxiliary meeting
The Nanticoke Health Services Auxiliary will meet on wednesday, Nov. 12, at the Seaford Golf and Country Club. Coffee, tea and assorted goodies will be served for a cost of $3. Pat Olekszyk, president will open the business meeting at 9:30 a.m. The guest speaker for this month will be Bob Davis, pharmacist at Happy Harry’s in Seaford. He will inform the members of the dangers of interactions between prescription drugs and some over the counter medications. Anyone interested in joining the Auxiliary should call Jane Foskey at 875-5629.

Parent workshop
On Wednesday, Nov. 12, 6-8 p.m., the Parent Information Center of Delaware will offer “Transition from Early Childhood Programs to Educational Services. An overview of the transition process from birth to age three, for young children receiving special education services at the Seaford Public Library, 402 Porter St., Seaford. Free pizza and drinks served. Call the Parent Information center at 856-9880 to register.
  Bloodmobile stops
Bloodmobile stops in the area will be in Federalsburg on Wednesday, Nov. 12, in Georgetown on Monday, Nov. 24, and in Seaford on Monday, Nov. 17, and Tuesday, Nov. 25. Phone 1-888-8-BLOOD-8 for more information.

Babies and Toddlers
The “Parents As Teachers” program (PAT) invites parents and their children from birth to age three to a FREE “Stay and Play Center” at Seaford Dept. of Parks & Recreation (SDPR) on Virginia Avenue. Sessions will be on Mondays from 10:30 a.m. to noon. (Closed on school holidays.) The Center provides an opportunity for parents and caretakers with young children to play together and discuss any parenting questions with a parent educator. Other services include a lending library of children’s and parenting books and evening group meetings on a variety of topics.
