Support Group meeting
The Sussex Fibromyalgia Support Group will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m. at the Methodist Manor House, Wesley Wellness Center, 1001 Middleford Road, Seaford, in the Employee Cafeteria.
The Program will include a report from the Maryland Fibromyalgia Symposium in Baltimore.

NMH Auxiliary meeting
Nanticoke Health Services Auxiliary will gather at the Seaford Golf & Country Club on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002, at 11:30 a.m. for a Thanksgiving luncheon meeting. The cost will be $11 per person. Pat Olekszyk will then conduct the regular monthly meeting and introduce the speaker, Dr. Bradley Lemon. As a podiatrist, Dr. Lemon will explain diabetic foot care and other medical and surgical procedures. Anyone interested in attending may make reservations by calling Volunteer Services at the hospital or Jane Foskey, at 875-5629.
Free parenting classes
Free classes on parenting children birth to four years old. Classes held in the Kinfolk Office, 115, S. Bedford St., Georgetown. Classes are: Nov. 13, Growth and development; Nov. 27, Discipline; Dec. 11, Health, safety, and illness; Jan. 8, Stress and time management. Call Chris at 875-2781 to make reservation. Pediatric first aid course
Parents, teachers, and day care providers can increase their caregiving and safety skills with a course in pediatric first aid at Delaware Technical & Community College, Owens Campus, Georgetown. Pediatric First Aid covers managing pediatric emergencies including convulsions, burns, poisoning, drowning, fractures, sprains, bleeding, and insect bites. Special emphasis on rescue breathing/choking. The course is approved by the Office of Child Care Licensing for a three-year course completion certificate. Two-session courses meet Nov. 12 and 14, 6-9 p.m. The cost is $30.
