PPP ‘Mornings at Seven’
“Mornings at Seven” a wonderful comedy that delves into the relationship of a family living in small town America, circa 1930, will be performed at Possum Point Players on Nov. 9,10, at 8 p.m. and Nov. 11, at 2 p.m. Tickets are $11 each with seats available for seniors and students for the matinee performances only for $9. A dinner/luncheon theatre will be held on Nov. 4, with the theater doors opening at noon, dinner served at 12:30 and the show starting at 2 p.m. Tickets for the dinner/luncheon and the show are $32. Delaware Tech craft fair
Get a head start on your holiday shopping at the 18th Annual Craft Fair hosted by Delaware Technical & Community College, Owens Campus, Georgetown, on Saturday, Nov. 10. Admission is free; there will be door prizes and refreshments. From 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the William A. Carter Partnership Center, over 100 crafters from several states will offer everything from floral arrangements, country gifts, woodwork, and ceramics to needlework, jewelry, dolls, clothing, and more. League of Women Voters
The Sussex County League of Women Voters will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 7:30 p.m., in the County Council Chamber in Georgetown. The Planning and Zoning Commission has accepted an invitation to this meeting to present the history of the Commission and an explanation of the process they use for planning and zoning. A question and answer period will follow their presentation. The meeting is public. Everyone is invited to attend. The meeting will also be “narrowcast” on Sussex County’s website: www.sussexcounty.net.

Eastern Shore Stamp Club
The Eastern Shore Stamp Club has moved from the Civic Center in Salisbury to the Wicomico County Library. If you are interested in the hobby of stamps or stamp collecting, United States or foreign, or want to learn how to begin or organize your collection, come to the first meeting at the Wicomico County Library in room #2 on Nov. 14, 7-8:45 p.m. All are welcome and it’s free to everyone.

Laurel Christmas Parade
Once again, the Laurel Fire Department and Laurel Chamber of Commerce will sponsor Laurel’s Annual Christmas Parade. The Parade will be held on Friday, Dec. 14, 7 p.m. The parade will begin on Evergreen Drive and proceed to N. Central Avenue. The rain date will be Saturday, Dec. 15, at 7 p.m.
The theme of this year’s parade will be “A Christmas Odyssey.” Trophies will be presented for Scouting, Commercial, Civic, Church, Animal, Youth and Fire Department entries. Entry may be made by completing one of the entry forms which have been placed in the Laurel Library. Cutoff for entries will be Monday, Dec. 10 No entries will be accepted thereafter. Ladies Auxiliary meeting
The Ladies Auxiliary of the Sussex County Firemen’s Association meeting will be held on Nov. 14. Dinner will be at 7 p.m., followed by meeting at 8 p.m., at the Rehoboth Fire House. Call 410-896-9041, Ext. 120, for more information.

Youth Group Basket Bingo
Our Lady of Lourdes Youth Group is hosting a Basket Bingo, featuring Longaberger Baskets on Nov. 17. Doors open at 6 p.m., games start at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door.
