Time to sign up for parade
The Greater Delmar Chamber of Commerce will hold its Christmas parade, "Delmar Salutes the 20th Century," Saturday, Dec. 11, at 2 p.m. The rain date for the parade is Sunday, Dec. 12, at 2 p.m.
There is no cost for participating. Application packets are available at Delmar Town Hall or by calling 846-3336. All participants are asked to base their entry on a decade of the 20th Century.

Golf course to be sold
Wood Creek Golf Links, a 63-acre, 18-hole golf course community just north of Salisbury, Md., will be offered for sale at public auction Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 1 p.m. For more information call 628-9401, or visit www.buyatauction.com.
Card show set for Dec. 4
The Delmar Delaware Kiwanis Club is holding its third annual Baseball Card Show on Dec. 4, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Delmar High School, Delmar, Del. The money raised from the show will go to Delmar scholarships. Delmarva Shorebird Tom McGee, Seaford native Matt Phillips, a Boston Red Sox prospect, and former Baltimore Oriole Paul Blair, who has won eight Gold Gloves and four World Championships, will sign free autographs.
Door prizes will be drawn every hour. The donated sports items auction is at 3:30 p.m.
Limited table space is available for vendors.
