Library celebrates vets, Potter
The following programs will be presented by the Seaford Library during November:
Saturday, Nov. 10, at 2 p.m., the library will hold a Veteranís Day Program at the Methodist Manor House. Participants will relive memories of World War II when Americans pulled together to show the world their strong-willed spirit. A slide presentation will be followed by audience discussion and sing-along.
Thursday, Nov. 15, at 7 p.m., the library will host a Harry Potter Trivia Game to celebrate Childrenís Book Week as well as the upcoming Harry Potter movie. Refreshments will be served and children are encouraged to wear their Harry Potter fashions.
Thursday, Nov. 29, at 7 p.m., a public meeting will be held to discuss the possibility of the library becoming a county library.
The library is challenging area teenagers to read the books in the survivor display and vote off the characters they think least likely to survive the greatest challenge. The contest will end Christmas Eve and from the ballots cast, one teen will win a yearís free subscription to Teen Magazine. Stop by the library for more information.

Holiday Energizer, a six-week session, starts Nov. 12 and 13.
Sessions meet Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9 a.m. with quality free childcare, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. Prepaid registration required for afternoon classes only.
The sessions will be in St. Johnís UMC Fellowship Hall. All ages (teens and up) and fitness levels are welcome. Air-conditioned, non-competitive, stress reducing, high-low aerobic, toning, strengthening and stretching class. Try a free one.
