Seaford Library meeting tonight
A public meeting will be held Thursday, Nov. 29, at 7 p.m. to discuss the possibilities of Seaford Library becoming a county library.

Bridgeville plan meeting tonight
On Thursday, Nov. 29, at 7 p.m. in the Town Hall, the Draft Bridgeville Comprehensive Plan will be presented to the public. All members of the public are welcome and encouraged to attend.

‘Christmas in Bridgeville’ Saturday
The 26th Annual “Christmas in Bridgeville” sponsored by the Bridgeville Historical Society, will be held Saturday, Dec. 1, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., at the Woodbridge High School. Admission is free. Lunch will be prepared by “Jimmy’s Grille” in the school cafeteria.

DelDOT Public Workshop Tuesday
The Delaware Department of Transportation is holding a public workshop on the U.S. 13 Corridor Plan on Tuesday, Dec. 4, from 4-8 p.m. at the Seaford Middle School, Stein Highway. DelDOT planners and engineers will be available to answer questions related to specific transportation or development issues related to the program.

DNREC public forum December 5
A public forum to discuss how to improve the Nanticoke River and its tributaries will be held Wednesday, Dec. 5, 6:30 to 9 p.m. in the Seaford Library Community Room. A series of articles on the Nanticoke River has been running in the Star.

Sussex Land Use meeting
The Sussex County Council is holding a Land Use Plan update meeting on Thursday, Dec. 6, at the Seaford Fire Hall for the towns of Blades, Bethel, Laurel and the City of Seaford. The public may attend from 5 to 7 p.m. A formal presentation will be made at 6 p.m.
