Reason for the Season’
The Musical Drama, “The Reason for the Season,” will be performed by the drama team of the Delmar Church of God of Prophecy. The performances will be on Dec. 19, 20, and 21, at 7:30 p.m. The church is located on U.S. 13, two miles north of the Maryland/Delaware state line. The drama team is being directed by Jack Thomas, who has brought with him much experience in the performance/production area. He directed a three-time national award-winning drama team from Emmanuel Ministries in Youngstown, Ohio. He is a national recording artist with the group, Southern Crossing, as heard on WOLC. He now travels and sings with the group, Jericho, from Charlotte, N.C. The host pastor of the church is Bishop Michael Phillips. Admission is free, and refreshments will be served following the performance. A bicycle will be given away each night by members and business people in the local community. Live Nativity
It’s a Live Nativity at Seaford Wesleyan Church (The Ark) on Rt 13 from Dec. 19-21. Several shows each night starting at 7 p.m. Free admission. Cookies and hot cocoa are to be served afterwards.

St Philip’s Episcopal
St Philip’s Episcopal Church Holiday Schedule: Christmas Eve Eucharist will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 24, at 8:30 p.m. Celebrant will be the Rev. Jack Chamblin. A service of Lessons and Carols will be held on Sunday, Dec. 29, at 9:30 a.m.

December 23 Service
Seaford Presbyterian Church, 701 Bridgeville Highway, will hold a Christmas Eve “Eve” Service on Tuesday, Dec. 23, at 7:30 p.m. The service of music, Scripture, candlelight and communion is designed especially for those who serve our community by working on Christmas Eve, but everyone is welcome to attend. ‘Angel Song’
Greenwood and Todd’s Chapel United methodist Church, at Greenwood United Methodist Church, located on W. Market and Church streets, Greenwood, will present Jim Hughes in the drama “Angel Song” on Sunday, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m. Jim Hughes wrote, sings and portrays the message of the first Christmas as seen from the lofty view of the heavenly hosts. This Christmas season travel into a timeless, exuberant, music-filled realm as the angels prepare to present the world with their savior. Jim Hughes’ Ministries is a non-profit, full-time family ministry that is supported solely by the gifts and offerings of those they serve. Hughes is a licensed preacher from Vineland, N.J.; and has been in the music and drama ministry since 1971. His tapes will be made available. All are welcome. Latin Mass
A Latin mass according to the Missal of 1962 is celebrated on the third Sunday of every month at 3 p.m. at Holy Cross Church in Dover. The mass will be celebrated on Dec. 21.
