Little League at Grotto's
Grotto's, U.S. 13, Seaford, will sponsor a Nanticoke Little League night on Monday, Dec. 5, from 5 to 9 p.m. Ten percent of the proceeds will go to Nanticoke Little League.

COURSES

AARP Driving Class
AARP offers driver's course Dec. 12, 13 AARP Driver Safety Course for people 50 and over, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 12 and 13, at Methodist Manor House, 1001 Middleford Road, Seaford. The two-day program, sponsored by the American Association for Retired Persons, stresses how older drivers may operate vehicles safely. Upon completion of the program, participants receive a certificate for a reduction in their auto insurance. A 15-percent reduction is given to anyone repeating the program within three years. All-You-Eat Breakfast
Blades Firemen and Ladies Auxiliary all-you-can-eat breakfast, Sunday, Dec. 4, 8-11 a.m., adults $6, Children, $3. Menu includes: bacon, scrapple, sausage, scrambled eggs, cream chipped beef, sausage gravy over toast, pancakes made to order, toast, hash brown potatoes, fruit cup, fruit juices, coffee, milk. The breakfast takes place the first Sunday of each month at the Blades Volunteer Fire Company Hall.

Christmas in Odessa House Tour
41st annual Christmas in Odessa House Tour, Saturday, Dec 3. Day tours - 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; candlelight tours - 3 to 8 p.m. Cost is $15 (children under 12, $5). Ticket includes the opening of four Historic Odessa Foundation houses. Ongoing events include Christmas craft sale, greens sale, antique sale, entertainement and concessions.

Holiday Concert at Del tech

Marine Corps League
The Marine Corps League meets the first Thursday of each month, at 7:30 p.m. at the Log Cabin in Seaford. This month will be Dec. 1.

Laurel New Century Club
The Laurel New Century Club is having their December meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at noon at RJ Riverside Restaurant. Buffet lunch will be served and this is also their Christmas party. The program this year is titled, "Christmas around the World." Some of the members will be speaking abut how Christmas as well as other holidays this time of the year are celebrated in this country and other parts of the world.

Acorn Club Christmas Event
GFWC-Acorn Club of Seaford meets for their Christmas Auction at Grace Baptist Church, Thursday, Dec. 8, at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is to bring an item to be auctioned. The proceeds will go to the international affairs projects. Ann McFarland is hostess.

Coast Guard Auxiliary
Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 12-04 meets the second Thursday of each month at Nanticoke Yacht Club in Blades. This month's meeting is Thursday, Dec. 8, at 7:30 p.m. Anyone interested in promoting safe boating and would like to work with men and women who do vessel inspections, safety patrols and teach public safety courses, are welcome to join the Flotilla. AARP Chapter 1084
AARP Seaford Area Chapter 1084 meeting Thursday, Dec. 8, 1:30 p.m., Methodist Manor House fellowship hall, Seaford. The Seaford area includes western Sussex County from Delmar to Greenwood. Equine Council Meeting

Widowed Persons Service
Seaford Chapter of the Widowed Persons Service meeting, Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 12:15 p.m., at the Golden Corral for the annual Christmas program. Those attending should bring canned goods and toys for associated charities. All widowed persons of all ages are invited to attend.
