Midland Grange Benefit
The Roadhouse Steak Joint located at Midway Coastal Highway, Rehoboth Beach, will donate a percentage of its food sales to Midland Grange #27, Georgetown. The Grange will benefit from all meals served Monday, March 6. For details call Jo Ann Kruger 856-9495.

Nanticoke Little League Night
Grottos on U.S. 13, Seaford, will sponsor a Nanticoke Little League night, Monday, March 6 from 5 to 9 p.m.

Sports Card Show Benefit
Sports Card Show and Silent Auction, Saturday, April 1, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Delmarva Shorebirds Stadium, Salisbury. All proceeds go towards the Ryan Long Memorial Scholarship for Seaford High. There will also be an Easter Egg Hunt, 50/50 and much more. Call 875-7768, ask for Keith.


Master Gardeners Workshop
The Sussex County Master Gardeners, of Delaware Cooperative Extension for both Delaware State University and University of Delaware, workshop on "Plants From Seeds," Tuesday, March 7, 10 a.m. Learn the basics of seed starting including types of containers, timing, lighting, temperature, moisture, and soil. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 12-04 meets the second Thursday of each month at the Nanticoke Yacht Club in Blades. This month's meeting is Thursday, March 9, at 7:30 p.m. Anyone interested in promoting safe boating and would like to work with men and women who do vessel inspections, safety patrols and teach public safety courses, are welcome to join the Flotilla. Irish Night at the Archives

Filled Basket Bingo at Club
Western Sussex Boys & Girls Club Longaberger filled basket bingo, Saturday, March 18. Each of the baskets will be filled with items centered around a theme. In addition, the first 100 ticket buyers will receive a Longaberger tote bag with a free lunch. The basket bingo will take place from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. with doors opening at 12:30 p.m. at the club, 310 Virginia Ave. Tickets ($35) are available by contacting Karen Schreiber at 629-8740.

Equine Council Dance

Trip to Flower Show
Friday, March 10, 7:30 a.m., a bus will leave the CHEER Community Center at 20520 Sand Hill Road, Georgetown, and head to the Philadelphia Flower Show. The cost for your Flower Show and bus ticket is $46.50 per adult and $34.50 per child. The bus will stop for a 15 minute break in Smyrna going up and 15 minutes on the return trip.
