Gallery 107 art classes The following classes are scheduled for June at Gallery 107 in Seaford. For more details, visit nanticokeriverartscouncil.org/Classes.html. The gallery is located at 324 High St., Seaford. Hours are 1 to 5 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. Classes are conducted around the corner at 105 Pine St.

Annual Car, Truck, Bike Show The 6th Annual Car, Truck, Bike Show hosted by SDSRA will be held at Moose Lodge #1728, 22759 Bridgeville Hwy., Seaford, on Saturday, June 11 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enjoy breakfast sandwiches, BBQ chicken/ribs, drinks, bake sale, music, door prizes and more. 2nd Sunday Concert Series First State Harmonizer Chorus and the Backswing Quartet will perform barbershop music at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 12, in the Woodruff Room of the Seaford District Library. Annual Tractor, Truck & Car Show The 16th Annual Tractor, Truck & Car Show of the First State Antique Tractor Club will be held on Friday, June 17 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, June 18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Governor Ross Plantation in Seaford. The featured tractor is Ford and related equipment. All makes and models are welcome. Kids will enjoy Touch a Tractor and Touch a Truck. The event will feature a Delaware State Police K-9 demonstration, Delaware State Police fingerprinting for kids, a moon bounce, a corn box with toys, a pedal pull, a Chocolate Dessert Contest featuring homemade items, food, a baked goods table, Wrench and Fry Pan Toss, crafters, small engines, 2nd Chance Fur Babies, Greyhound Rescue, presentation of 2016 scholarships, a blacksmith demonstration and Chinese and live auctions. SHS Members Picnic Seaford Historical Society Members Picnic will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, June 20, at the Seaford Moose Lodge. SHS members and friends are welcome. Bring a side dish or dessert. Recycled Cardboard Boat Regatta The 3rd Annual Nanticoke River Recycled Cardboard Boat Regatta will be held on Saturday, Aug. 6 from noon to 3 p.m. at Nanticoke River Public Marine Park, Blades, as part of the Reclaim Our River, Nanticoke Series. The Regatta is open to individuals, schools, youth groups, businesses, groups of friends, government and non-profit organizations who want to build a boat and race using only recycled corrugated cardboard. Quarter Auction for the library Tickets are on sale now for the Delmar Public Library's Quarter Auction on Saturday, June 11, at the Delmar VFW, 200 W. State St., Delmar, Md. Bridgeville Library Teen/Tween Scavenger Hunt - Join us at the Bridgeville or Greenwood Library on Friday, June 10, at 4 p.m. for a Teen Scavenger Hunt. Form a team of three to five friends ages 10-17 and race around either Bridgeville or Greenwood by foot power only to be the first team back to each library. Each team needs to bring a digital camera or cell phone that can take pictures. Free Family Movie Night Plan an early Father's Day gift and bring your husband, fathers, brothers, sons and nephews to a free dinner and movie at Greenwood UMC, corner of Church & Market streets, on Saturday, June 11. Bake & Bling Sale The Greenwood CHEER Activity Center will host an indoor "Bake & Bling" Sale on Thursday, June 16. New Book Talks Series The Westside Historical Society began a new series, "Authors on Delmarva." Each of the five programs feature a local author who writes about some facet of life on Delmarva. All programs are free and open to the public, and will be presented at Laytons Chance Winery near Vienna, from 4 to 7 on Friday afternoons. Light refreshments will be offered. Programs will begin with a meet-and-greet followed by the author's talk and ending with a chance to purchase a signed copy of the featured book. Future programs will feature Joe Moore, author of Murder on Maryland's Eastern Shore on June 17, and Anne Foley, author of Hollands Island: Dorchester County's "Lost Atlantis" on Sept. 9. Night of Doo Wop at CHEER Back by popular demand, CHEER presents the Jersey Jukebox and the Del Angels with an evening of Doo Wop and Oldies at the CHEER Community Center, Georgetown, on Saturday, June 18 from 5-8 p.m. Cruise down memory lane with the boss sounds of the Jersey Jukebox who have opened for The Duprees, The Earls, Little Anthony and the Imperials, the Tokens, and have been featured on Good Morning America.
