Nichols Sisters in concert
The Nichols Sisters will be in concert on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 5 p.m. at Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church, 28 Church Street, Bridgeville. There will be a free will offering. For details call 337-8543. Rev. Terrance Briggs is the Pastor.

'Canticle of Christmas'
The Chancel Choir of the Union United Methodist Church will present "Canticle of Christmas" on Sunday, Dec. 18, at 7 p.m. followed by a "Dessert Fellowship." Everyone is invited. The church is at 2 North Laws Street, Bridgeville.

'One Bethlehem Night'
Epworth Fellowship Church on Sycamore Road in Laurel will be performing a Broadway-style musical drama from the Christmas season entitled "One Bethlehem Night." The drama will boast full staging, costuming, lighting and sound, actors, animals, music and choreography. There will be three performances Ñ Dec. 9 and 10 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 11 at 10 a.m. Doors open one hour early. Admission is free. The facilities are wheelchair friendly. Nursery will be provided. Alliance Church Cantata
The Atlanta Road Alliance Church choir, under the direction of Richard Trice, will present the cantata, "One Incredible Moment: Celebrating the Majesty of the Manger" on Friday, Dec. 16, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 18, at 7 p.m. Filled with the writing of Max Lucado and the music of Tom Fettke, the musical reveals how every character and moment of that divine night illuminate the miracle of Christ. Laurel Christmas musical
Laurel Wesleyan Church will be presenting a multigenerational Christmas musical "The Christmas S.O.C.C.E.R. Team" on Saturday, Dec. 10, at 6 p.m. and on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Childcare will be provided. Laurel Wesleyan Church is located 1/2 mile north of Laurel on Rt. 13A. 'One Incredible Moment'
Messiah's Vineyard Church, on US 13 and Discountland Road, Laurel, will present "One Incredible Moment," a cantata directed by pastor Barry Dukes and Ruth Lewis. It will be performed on Saturday, Dec. 10, and Sunday, Dec. 11, at 7 p.m. The cantata includes a 40-member choir, a drama team, elaborate costumes and sets of the town of Bethlehem. The joy of Christmas
The Delmar Church of God of Prophecy will present the musical drama production "Sounds Like Christmas." Directed and produced by three-time national Crystal Communicator Award winner Wendy Craig, the production will be performed Dec. 16, 17 and 18 at 7:30 p.m. with free admission. This is no ordinary "church skit." With full set design, lighting, make up, costumes, singing and choreography it has already proved to be a delightful hit to young and old alike. With a contemporary approach to the Christmas message, this group reminds us to "experience the joy of Christmas." The host pastor of the church is Bishop Michael Phillips. First Baptist hosts piano ministry
G. Richard Deal, concert pianist and recording artist, will be presenting a sacred piano concert at First Baptist Church on Wednesday, Dec. 14, at 7 p.m. Deal is from the Chicago area and has presented more than 2,400 sacred and classical piano concerts in Europe, Asia, North and South America. He has presented numerous solo concerts and has performed with symphony orchestras. Deal has been a participant in several international piano competitions including the prestigious Tchaikovsky Piano Competition in Moscow. He arranges his own sacred piano arrangements and has released six professional recordings. The most recent is entitled "Majestic Piano Praise," a collection of hymns and praise music. The church is located at 543 N. Bradford St. in Seaford. Admission is free.

No Name Band at Grace UMC

St. Nicholas to visit St. Luke's
On Sunday, Dec. 11, will be the in-gathering of gifts for the Associated Charities Christmas project at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Seaford. At this time there will be a visit from St. Nicholas to receive these gifts and to add a special blessing to those who give and upon those who will be receiving the gifts. On Sunday, Dec. 18, the Angel Project gifts will be brought to St. Luke's as another participation of outreach in the community during this time. The 6 p.m. Eucharist and healing service continues to be held on Thursdays.

Centenary Christmas services
Centenary United Methodist Church, corner of Poplar and Market streets, Laurel, will have a combined worship service on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 11 a.m. with the adult choir presenting "The Gift Goes On," directed by Linda Premo. On Sunday, Dec. 18, the youth choir will present their Christmas cantata entitled "Stranger in the Manger," at a combined worship service at 11 a.m. Centenary will hold two services on Christmas Eve. The 7 p.m. service will be family-oriented with the presentation of the children's story "Why the Chimes Rang?" written by Raymond MacDonald Alden. The traditional candlelight service will be held at 10 p.m. On Christmas Day, a combined carol sing will be held at 11 a.m. Regularly scheduled worship services will resume on New Year's Day with a contemporary service at 8:45 a.m. and traditional worship at 11 a.m. All are invited to join in the services at Centenary United Methodist Church.

'If Jesus Had Not Come'
The Christmas drama and music presentation entitled, "If Jesus Had Not Come," will be presented on Saturday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m., and on Sunday, Dec. 18, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Seaford.

Laurel Baptist Christmas play

Christmas musical at Grace Church
The Kidz choir at Grace Baptist Church, 805 Atlanta Road, Seaford, will present a children's Christmas musical at 6 p.m., on Sunday, Dec. 18. The public is invited to this free presentation of Don and Lorie Marsh's "Star Journey." This presentation will be directed by Mrs. Homer McKeithan, and will be followed by a time of fellowship.
