Awana Clubs at Alliance Church Awana clubs are being held at Atlanta Road Alliance Church on Wednesdays from 6:45 to 8:25 p.m., for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Sparks (K-second grade) ignites the curiosity of early elementary kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ.T&T (Truth & Training) engages third- through sixth-graders by answering their questions about God and the Bible, guiding them through this pivotal life stage to grow in Christs grace. Thrift Shop open Saturdays St. Johns Thrift Shop located at 259 N. Conwell St. in Seaford, is open every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. A variety of infant, toddler, youth and adult clothing is available. Housewares, bedding and childrens books are also available.

Mitten tree at Dons Tree Farm Dons Tree Farm accepting donations for new hats, scarves and mittens for their mitten tree. Items collected will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club and other local charities in association with Georgetown Presbyterian Church. Located at 6396 Hickman Road, Greenwood. Alliance Church presents Cantata The choir of Atlanta Road Alliance Church, directed by Richard Trice, will present Sing Gloria! on Friday, Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 18 at 7 p.m. Spectacular orchestrations and choral arranging are the hallmarks of this elegant Christmas concert by master arranger David Hamilton. The church is located at 22625 Atlanta Rd., Seaford, approximately 1-1/2 miles north of Stein Highway (Route 20). The presentations are free.

Concert to benefit Trinity UMC Join us Friday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m., for an evening of great gospel music at Wyoming United Methodist Church in Dover. Featured performer is Ivan Parker, award winning Gospel singer and recording artist. Opening acts will be Joe Dawson and Richard Lindale. The concert will benefit Trinity United Methodist Churchs Raise the Roof Fund. Located in Harrington, Trinitys church roof is badly in need of repair and must be redone to preserve the beautiful building which is over a century old.
