Senior Choir presents Cantata The Senior Choir of Christ United Methodist Church in Federalsburg, Md., will present the Easter Cantata, "O What A Savior" on Easter morning, April 8, at Christ United Methodist Church, 201 S. Main St. (at the corner of Main and Maple), in Federalsburg.

Maundy Thursday service St. Paul's United Methodist Church invites the community to participate in a free special service for Maundy Thursday at 7 p.m. on April 5. The drama, "Is It I Lord?" will be presented. The program, written by Dr. William D. Webber, is an interpretation of the disciples' thoughts surrounding the events on the night that Jesus shared the Passover meal and his subsequent arrest. Easter Cantata There will be an Easter Cantata, "At the Cross," at Laurel Baptist Church on Friday, April 6 at 7 p.m. The church is located at 33056 Bi-State Blvd.

Easter at Woodland UMC Woodland United Methodist Church will host an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 7 at 1 p.m. The hunt is open to all children up to age 12. Rain or shine. An Easter Cantata, "Jesus Christ Is Love," will be presented on Sunday, April 8 at 9 a.m. The church is located 4.5 miles west of Seaford, next to Woodland Ferry. Both events are free and the public is welcome.

Easter at Seaford Presbyterian Seaford Presbyterian Church will hold Maundy Thursday - Communion Service - at 7 p.m. on April 5. Celebrate the Resurrection on Easter Sunday at 10 a.m. Everyone is welcome. The church is located at 701 Bridgeville Hwy., Seaford. For more information, call 629-9077.

'Behold the Lamb of God' Come join the members of the Good Samaritan Christian Fellowship as they perform, "Behold, the Lamb of God" on Sunday, April 8 at 6 p.m. at Seaford Church of the Nazarene. See the miracles Jesus performed and the Last Supper. The church is located on Rt. 13 south, next to the Sussex Guide.

Lenten worship, fellowship and study All Saint's Episcopal Church, 10th & Grove streets, Delmar, is offering an order of worship for the evening, followed by a soup supper, and viewing and discussion of The Teaching Company DVD, "The Cathedral," by Dr. William R. Cook on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Good Friday service Jim Hughes Ministries from Newfield, N.J. will present the drama "Gethsemane" on Good Friday, April 6, 7 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 201 S. Main St. (at the corner of Main and Maple) in Federalsburg, Md. All are welcome and a love offering will be taken.

Easter musical presented The Atlanta Road Alliance Church choir, under the direction of Richard Trice, will present an Easter musical, "The Sacrifice," at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 6 and 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 8. Written by Steve Moore, "The Sacrifice" is a moving and dramatic story of the first-hand remembrances of the death and resurrection of Jesus. Atlanta Road Alliance Church is located at 22625 Atlanta Rd., Seaford. The presentations are free.

Easter Egg Hunt Laurel Baptist Church will have an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Open to all children from newborn to 10-years-old. Besides the egg hunt there will be a moon bounce and someone will speak about the different breeds of chicken and eggs. The church is located at 33056 Bi-State Blvd.

Gospel groups to perform Brian Free & Assurance, the Dixie Melody Boys and Mark Bishop will perform at Parkside High School in Salisbury at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 14. The event is sponsored by Snethen United Methodist Church. Tickets are $17 in advance for adults, $20 at the door and $6 for kids ages 10 and under. Tickets may be purchased at O'Neals Antiques in Laurel, Community Pharmacy in Salisbury, The Mustard Seed in Milford and The What's New Shop in Denton. Open mike Christian Night Open mike Christian Night will be held at the Lighthouse Church at 27225 Kaye Road, just off Rt. 9 County Seat Hwy., on the first and third Friday of every month through April 20, from 7-9 p.m. Free admission and free snacks. Governor's Prayer Breakfast May 3 The public is invited to attend the 52nd Annual Governor's Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, May 3, at the Modern Maturity Center in Dover. The focus of this year's event is "Compassion." The guest speaker will be author, pastor, and social activist Dr. Tony Campolo. The Modern Maturity Center is located at 1121 Forrest Ave., Dover. Doors open at 6:30 a.m., with the buffet breakfast beginning at 7. The program will begin promptly at 7:30 a.m. Tickets are $20 each or $200 for a table of 10. Military persons gathering Retired, active and inactive military persons, please join us. Grace Baptist Church Fellowship Hall is open every Tuesday from 3 to 5 p.m., for all denominations who have served in any branch of our military to come and have free coffee and snacks with us. Homemade Easter eggs for sale Homemade Easter Eggs will be for sale from Christ Lutheran Church. These eggs were the first ever and still are the best on the shore. Flavors include peanut butter, coconut cream and butter cream. Eggs are $3.50 each. Call 629-9751 or 629-9755.

Kids items accepted Little Grace "Newborn & Children's Closet" at Grace United Methodist Church, 7 S. King St., Georgetown, is accepting newborn and children's clothing as well as any baby and kids items any time. Awana Clubs at Alliance Church Awana clubs are being held at Atlanta Road Alliance Church on Wednesdays from 6:45 to 8:25 p.m., for children in Kindergarten through sixth grade. Sparks (K-second grade) ignites the curiosity of early elementary kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ. T&T (Truth & Training) engages third- through sixth-graders by answering their questions about God and the Bible, guiding them through this pivotal life stage to grow in Christ's grace. Financial Peace University offered Nearly one and a half million families have been able to positively change their financial situation through Financial Peace University (FPU), the 13-week course taught by Dave Ramsey on DVD. FPU teaches families and individuals common-sense principles like how to make a plan with their money so they are able to free themselves of debt and build lasting wealth. FPU is available for churches, military, non-profit agencies, and businesses. FPU will be held in Seaford at St. John's United Methodist Church.
