Outdoor Gospel Music Festival Laurel St. Paul's UMC will have their 6th Annual Outdoor Gospel Music Festival at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 13. July Christmas Festival fundraiser Christ the Cornerstone Community Church in Laurel will hold a fundraiser, A July Christmas Festival, Thursday, July 11 through Saturday, July 13. On Thursday, July 11 from 5 to 7 p.m., there will be an AUCE Spaghetti Dinner (pay at the door). On Friday, July 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. a lunch will be held. There will be chicken salad sandwiches, chili, vegetable beef soup and hot dogs. On Saturday, July 13 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., breakfast and lunch will be served. The menu includes scrapple sandwiches, oyster fritters, burgers, ice cream, apple dumplings and baked goods. Summer Service Schedule Old Christ Church, Laurel will be open for regular Sunday services on the first Sunday of each month, June through September. The services, Holy Eucharist and Sermon, will take place at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4 and Sunday, Sept. 1.

St. Stephens UMC fundraiser St. Stephens UMC will have a Love Light Tree to raise money for its many ministries. A Love Light Tree is a Christmas tree decorated with multi-color lights for Christmas and the different colored lights represent different types of ways of honoring loved ones.
