Greenwood Mennonite anniversary Greenwood Mennonite Church will celebrate its 100 year anniversary on March 14-16. A Saturday evening banquet is planned at Greenwood Mennonite School. AYCE Ham, Cabbage & Potatoes AYCE Ham, Cabbage & Potatoes with dessert and beverage from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, at Christ the Cornerstone Community Church, 28714 Seaford Rd., Laurel, (corner of Bethel and Seaford roads). Cost is $8 per person, pay at the door.

Lenten worship, fellowship, study All Saints Episcopal Church, 10719 E. Grove St., Delmar is holding special services. Each Wednesday of Lent, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. the church will journey with Jesus through key scriptures and events of Holy Week: March 19, The Entry into Jerusalem; March 26, Jesus Washes the Disciples Feet; April 2, The Last Supper; April 9, The Betrayal, Arrest and Crucifixion of Jesus. Everyone is welcome to come worship at All Saints Episcopal Church during Holy Week: April 13 - Sunday of the Passion, with the Liturgy of the Palms and the Holy Eucharist: 10 a.m. April 18 - Liturgy for Good Friday followed by the Stations of the Cross: noon and 7 p.m. April 20 - Easter Day: The Sunday of the Resurrection, with the Lighting of the Pascal Candle and the Holy Eucharist: 10 a.m.

Purity Tea at The Ark The Seaford Wesleyan Church, The Ark, will hold their second annual Purity Tea at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 29. This free event is a wonderful opportunity for young women, ages 12 and up, to learn about Gods special plan for them. The event is for girls who have already made their vows along with those who are thinking about it. If you know a young lady who would like to attend, call the church at 628-1020. Girls must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The deadline to sign up is March 16.

Spring Revival planned The Christian Church of Seaford invites everyone to attend its Spring Revival with Dr. Lee Mason, director of the Christian Restoration Association based out of Cincinnati, Ohio. The revival will be held March 16-19; Sunday, 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Monday through Wednesday, 7 p.m. nightly. Music will be provided by the Zugg Family. Celebrate Recovery program The Laurel Nazarene Church (across from Gamezone) will start the Celebrate Recovery program on Tuesdays from 7 to 9 p.m., beginning March 18. Get freedom from your addictions, hurts, hang-ups and habits through this 12-step program. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. for refreshments and fellowship. Childcare is provided. Chicken and Crust Dinner St. Stephens UMC in Delmar will hold a Chicken and Crust Dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 22. Cost is $12 for adults, $5 for kids ages 4 to 12 and free for kids ages 3 and under. The dinner will be held in Camelot Hall next to the church on East State Street in Delmar.

Lent and Easter Services Union United Methodist Church in Bridgeville invites you to attend Lent and Easter Services. The following services are planned: Palm Sunday Service, Sunday, April 13, 10 a.m. - entire music department will perform. No childrens church or Sunday school. A luncheon will be held in the Fellowship Hall after the service. Holy Thursday Service, Thursday, April 17, 7 p.m. - traditional communion will be offered. Good Friday, April 18, noon to 3 p.m. - the church will be open for a time of reflection and prayer. Good Friday Service, 7 p.m. - 7 Last Words of Christ will be read by members of the congregation. Easter Sunday, April 20, 6:30 a.m. - Sunrise Service at the cemetery pond behind the church. Regular service will begin at 9 a.m. and the traditional service at 11. Chicken and Dumpling Dinner Weather permitting, the women of the Woodland United Methodist Church will serve a Chicken and Dumpling Dinner on Saturday, March 15 at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5:30. Cost is $10; children ages 6 to 12 are $4; ages 5 and under are free.

Easter services at Concord Church Concord United Methodist Church, 25322 Church Rd., Seaford, invites you to attend their Easter services. A Holy Thursday service will be held at 7 p.m. on April 17 and traditional communion will be offered. Easter Sunday, April 20, will feature a Sunrise service at 6:30 a.m., followed by breakfast in the Community House. Afterwards, the regular worship service will begin at 9, followed by church school. Call 628-8114 for more information.

Hymn Sing at St. Pauls St. Pauls United Methodist Church in Laurel invites the community to this months Hymn Sing on Sunday, March 23. This month features Gods Country Crossroads a local group from Worcester County, Md., that is celebrating 10 years of sharing Gods love and forgiveness through their music. The 7th Hour will perform from 5:15 to 6 p.m. The featured music ministry program starts at 6 and a love offering will be taken to benefit their music ministry. Weekly Lenten Fish Dinners Lenten Fish Dinners will be served every Wednesday during the Lenten season in the parish hall of Our Lady of Lourdes Church on Stein Highway in Seaford. Dinner dates are March 19, 26, April 2 and 9. Dinner is your choice of baked, breaded flounder or vegetable lasagna. Each entrée includes sides, homemade soup and coleslaw, rolls, drinks, and homemade desserts. Cost is $9 for adults and $5 for children under age 10. Proceeds will benefit the annual scholarship fund.

Revival with the Garlocks A revival with Jonathan and Marcia Garlock of Missouri will be held at the Delmar Church of God of Prophecy at 7 p.m. on March 21 and 22 and 11 a.m. on March 23. The Garlocks, who will minister with the word and song, have served as missionaries throughout the world. Refreshments will be served on Saturday evening. Everyone is welcome.

Homemade Easter Eggs Homemade Easter Eggs from Christ Lutheran Church are available for $3.50 each. There are three kinds - peanut butter, butter cream and coconut. To order, call 629-9755 or 629-9751.

St. Pattys Breakfast A St. Pattys Breakfast will be held at Centenary United Methodist Church in Laurel from 8 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 15. The menu includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, eggs, scrapple and potatoes, coffee and orange juice. Children under the age of 3 are free, ages 3 to 11 are $3 and ages 12 and up are $7.

Join the MOPs group The Laurel Wesleyan Church MOPs group invites all mothers of children from birth through age 5, to join our community of mothers as we learn, have fun, and support one another during this important season of life.
