Services at Old Christ Church Summer services for Old Christ Church, Laurel, will be held at 10 a.m. on the first Sunday of each month through September. The services are conducted according to an historic liturgy, Holy Eucharist, celebrated by the Rev. Howard Backus and sermon. Come as you are and enjoy worship in this church which was built in 1771. Outdoor Gospel Music Festival St. Paul's UMC, located at 32837 Old Stage Rd., Laurel, will have their 7th Annual Outdoor Gospel Music Festival on Saturday, July 26 at 4 p.m. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy The Murray Family, Sounds of Joy, The Island Boys and The Homeland Singers. VBS at St. Paul's St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Laurel will have Vacation Bible School (VBS) on Aug. 4-8 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. This year's theme is Jungle Safari. VBS is open for ages Pre-K through 6th grade. Pre-registration is recommended. VBS at Mount Olivet UMC Mount Olivet UMC in Seaford will hold its annual Vacation Bible School, SonTreasure Island, Monday, Aug. 4 through Friday, Aug. 8 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. There will also be a closing program during the 11 a.m. service on Sunday, Aug. 10. Children ages 3 (potty trained) through entering 6th grade are invited to attend. Children who are not potty trained must be accompanied by a parent. There is no cost to attend. VBS at Bethel UMC Bethel UMC of Oak Grove, located west of Seaford at 2381 Neal's School Road, will hold Vacation Bible School on Aug. 18-22 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for kids in pre-K to fifth grade. Each night the children will learn about God and his love for us through Bible stories, music, crafts, games and snacks.

Chicken Salad Sale St. Stephens United Methodist Church in Delmar will hold a Chicken Salad Sale to benefit Relay for Life on Wednesday, July 23, at Camelot Hall. Open Mike Christian Night Open Mike Christian Night is the first and third Friday of every month from 7 to 9 p.m. at The Lighthouse Church. Free admission and free snacks. GriefShare group at St. John's St. John's United Methodist Church in Seaford is offering GriefShare, a 13 week non-denominational grief support group.
